This mind-boggling optical illusion has been causing quite a debate online, as people are seeing different numbers of blocks in the image as it makes you question your vision

Often people will look at the same image and see it in completely different ways. Our eyes send signals to the brain and it creates a perception, but this can vary between everyone and can also sometimes determine character traits and IQ levels.

Optical illusions are a fun way to sharpen your brain and find little details in pictures, and they often have you second-guessing your eyesight. This latest puzzle has many adults stumped and is sparking a debate on Twitter with people unsure how many blocks are in the mind-bending image.

Some people can see four blocks, whereas others can only spot three on the ground. Many are now questioning how many blocks there really are in the mind-boggling illustration, designed specifically to leave your head in a spin.

Shared on Twitter by @crazyillusions, the image has adults scratching their heads and disagreeing, with over 43,000 likes and hundreds of comments.

"There are 4 if you see 3 there is something wrong with you," one Twitter user wrote.

While another added: "I've been looking at this for 30 minutes now, and I still only see three blocks. Am I doing something wrong?"

A third said: "There are 4 if you see 3 there is something wrong with you."

Whereas a fourth commented: "It's 3, this illusion looks tricky at first but you just gotta look hard enough to see it."

Many people have become divided on how many there are, and some are even seeing five, as one suggested: "maybe im just a dumb*** but I see five."

How many can you make out from the photo? The true answer remains a mystery - but it's certainly left people confused as it's all based on your individual perception.
